List of fake news websites

As stated by Wikipedia: "Fake news websites deliberately publish hoaxes and disinformation to drive web traffic inflamed by social media. These sites are distinguished from news satire (which is humorous) as they mislead and sometimes profit from readers' gullibility. While most fake news sites are portrayed to be spinoffs of other news sites, some of these websites are examples of website spoofing, structured to make visitors believe they are visiting trusted sources like ABC News or MSNBC. The New York Times pointed out that within a strict definition, "fake news" on the Internet referred to a fictitious article which was fabricated with the deliberate motivation to defraud readers, generally with the goal of profiting through clickbait. PolitiFact described fake news as fabricated content designed to fool readers and subsequently made viral through the Internet to crowds that increase its dissemination."

The following link, has a list of Fake News sites, compiled on Wikipedia:

Martin Kerr Opening Act Emmet Michael

March 25, 2018 (7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Centre for Spiritual Living
7621-101 Ave, Edmonton, AB
***Free childcare on-site***

For more than 10 years, Martin Kerr has been a fixture of the Edmonton music scene - in coffee houses and clubs, as a regular busker at the city’s farmer’s market, and on the private house concert circuit, performing more than a 150 shows a year. He has carved out a niche as one of the most talented, approachable, connective and inventive musicians in the Alberta capital.

With the release of his new album Better Than Brand-New, the U.K.-born singer-songwriter is looking to take his stellar reputation as an entertainer of profoundly egalitarian appeal, and insightful, thought-provoking songcraft to the next level.

Opening for Martin is local, emerging singer/songwriter Emmet Michael, who grew up singing in choirs, and has been writing songs since he was 12 years old. Emmet's inspiration comes from a journey of recovery from addiction and learning to love. His hope is to interpret these struggles in a way that others can connect and relate to. He expresses these authentic feelings and experiences through the lyrics of his original songs. Emmet has played at the Art Walk, Cha Island, The Carrot Cafe, and at Arcadia. He has always loved busking and street performing as well as playing shows and festivals.
